Aldo some people say that the leather strap / holder never was used ,i am sure they did use it looking in to a lot of WW2 pictures!!

i think this topic needs an special place with the NZ parts!!! 8)

The leather holder was on any WH-NZ till 1943, after that time iron-holders left under the driver seat. On most Original pictures the leather can could be seen.
