Parts for DKW NZ 350

Post by Nech » Mon Jul 25, 2011 10:54 am

Hi friends!

As I am in the proces of renovation of DKW NZ 350, I am looking for some spare parts from time to time Smile
Just now I search the HAND GEAR SHIFTER (just "die Kulisse") and the LIMA DYNAMO PULLER (or some other useable puller for the NZ flywheel).

Thank you!

Hi guys,

Hard to see from the pics if its IZH Or DKW, if its IZH the numbers are 1-0-2-3-4 and if its DKW its 1-L-2-3-4.

Many of the parts sold on German ebay as DKW parts are russian IZH parts

Cheers lads!

Ok, now I am looking for the whole GAS SET and for a CHOKE LEVER.
Actually I can buy the choke lever for IZH 49 to replace the original piece, but dont know how different they are. I´d go better for a original or repro piece..

Thanks!
Martin

p.s.- I am still searching the LIMA DYNAMO PULLER

The "Lufrthebel" and "Gasshifter" are okey for your NZ.
However not from the wartime but postwar.

Thank you.

So are they useable, or do I have to find the original ones?
Are there any major differences?

Thanks one more time.

The lufthebel on the picture is a bit different from the NZ hebel. On the Magura hebel the wire is attached with the screw seen on the picture and on the original (Mila?) the wire itself has a knob.
The original NZ hebel is attached to the handlebar by the screw holding the whole hebel together and some Magura hebels have a separate clamp attaching the hebel to the handle bar. Its hard to say from the picture if the Magura hebel is with a clamp or not. The russian hebels sold by ebay member innesberg looks more accurate than this one.

Thank you Frank for a very detailed answer.
However I can't find any of the Innesberg's levers in his Ebay store at the moment, but I suppose they'r the ones from IZH? Like this one?

Hi Martin,

Yes, looks very the same. You find innesberg under this link: http://cgi.ebay.de/DKW-NZ-350-WH-NZ350- ... 526wt_1139

Ask him/her for a picture/price of the lever.
