I believe that the RT125 in complete "Wehrmacht" livery is much rarer than the NZ350-1.

Yes I agree with Thomas, have only seen one or two very original RT125 n. A. the rest is all missing the rare parts.

Cheers,

Hello Killinger, I's not easy, but they can be found, keep asking, and start saving! I paid over 700 euro's for a complete set! (filter and choke)

In the end I got two sets, for two bikes.

In order to reduce the cost of restoration, I suggest using reproduction parts, especially for the rare parts that are expensive. You can restore the motorrad to the original appearance and replace reproduction parts with original parts as you save money to afford them. The search will be long, tak...

Yes Wilhelm, you're right about the carrier, it looked funny to me, and then forgot about it!

Hello, The frame and fork/mudguard/wheel, and handlebars are 100% wartime, but am not shure of the rear wheel, engine is something completely different ofcourse. Rear mudguard/taillamp an carrier look also OK to me, but then there is so many very difficult parts missing, that it would be very costly...

Hello, the number is stamped above the type plate, not beside it, and the typeplate should be of steel, not aluminium. Also there is a star in front and behind the framenumber. The WaA Marking is usually just below the right bottom of the typeplate. See picture, sorry about the bad quality! the dark...

Thanks Wolfgang! the upper bracket info is what I needed, asume the IFA is the same as on the DKW? have the other metal parts inside the saddle, also with the welded tab and thread on, so no problem there.

I can always remove the script "pagusa" with sandpaper, then it will look OK.

Ok Martin, then the Rt125-1 saddle is different underneath, was hoping it was the same.

Have the rubber covers from poland, and the metal parts, so only need the clips on the front, on the rear the springs are attached.

Bedankt/thanks,

Lex

saddle info wanted for Rt125-1/NZ350-1

Hi all, Got this saddle from a friend in France, has original paint on it, so assume it's from an NZ, and believe the Rt125-1 had the same saddle. What I need to know is what part is missing to attach it to the brackets that bolt to the frame?? are they simple clips? I plan to use the metal for this...

Well, to cloud the issue with even more facts, some pictures of 2 original -1 caps, they are different to each other! I think the one with the ridge (left) is original, but not sure about the other, on both sides is german text. http://dkw-nz.net/forum/userpix/132_HPIM0080_1.jpg http://dkw-nz.net/fo...

Hi all, I have about 4 of these caps, but they are plain on top, so no text at all, rest is the same, but there's also another language on the measure cup! Ok, here some pictures, there's Polish? text, English english and USA English, they fit on a DKW, but what period/bike/make are they for?? they ...
