Re: NEW ! Repro switchtoggle.
I purchased one of these. Excellent reproductions and a pleasant seller. Take a look at his steering damper knobs as well. Fantastic!

Hi Mike, Yes these are stencils. The stencil is a vinyl sticker. You peel off the backing card, stick the stencil to the area you want to paint. Then remove the waxed paper on the top. Paint the area and then peel off the stencil once the paint gets tackey. They are awesome. No bleed, no overspray, ...

Kurt and Jeff: We MUST do a ride together this year. In all honesty, Rockford is a nice place, but its too congested. Lowell is the best place to ride. There are plenty of good trails around the camps and open country roads and we can go on a nice long ride. Jeff, I know you can make Lowell so it's ...

Hello, I am the owner of the NZ 250 in Illinois. My Machine is a 1939 and the month mark on the engine block indicates a February manufacture date. I purchased this bike from Bluemoon Cycle in June of 2007. From the research I've done it was in the Dubec Collection in France. From there it went to R...

Hello everyone. I can vouch for experthomas' products. I purchased a set of the tank stencils for the Whermacht NZ from him a few months ago. Application is simple and they look great. The font is perfect! You can't beat the prices either. I am looking to get a set of tactical markings next. Nice wo...

YOU ARE ALL CORRECT, BUT THERE WERE HUNDREDS OF VARIATIONS OF THE TARNDECKE. THERE WERE ALL METAL LENSE COVERS, METAL WITH A CLOTH BAND, LEATHER AND CLOTH, RUBBERIZED CLOTH, OIL CLOTH, EVEN TREATED PAPER AND PRESSTOFF (CARDBOARD) AND JUST ABOUT ANY COMBINATION OF THE PREVOIUS. I EVEN RECALL SEEING A...

Thank you Thomas. Unfortunately I have no part number information, just the markings described in the first post. However I may have found an indication to the answer. I always save photos when possible. So, I went back over all the photos I had collected showing the Spulenkasten with the cartridges...

Hi Martin, I used to work in graphic arts years ago. Perhaps this trick might work for you. Once we find you the correct font to the one used on the tank stencils, type out and print up the stencils on a plain sheet of paper 1 to 1 size. Trim out each group or block of lettering. On the back of the ...

Military vs. Civilian Tire Sizes
Hello Everyone, I am new to the forum and I would like to thank all you you for the wealth of information. I am restoring a barn find 1939 NZ 250 as a Heer messenger machine. I was wondering what would be more commonly found on a Wehrmacht motorcycle, the standard 3,00 X 19 tires or a larger 3,50 X ...
