Re: Need help
Hei, Frank, What about that lamps from "some dishonest sellers", looks like, these devices are not only in size, but also in shape different from the original ones. Looks like, I don't have the rights to put pictures in the message. I tried, unsuccessfully, to show you my rear lamp and the red glass...
Re: Need help
Terve, Frank, I agree, the best way - to restore my native rear lamp, tell me, please, how was the red glass was attached there? BTW, during the search for the manufacturer of the rear NZ 350 lamp, I found out, for sure, that the exact the same lamp was installed on the NZ 500, maybe you will need i...

Hei, Frank, kiitos paljon näistä selvennyksistä!) I was also inclined to think, that these tail lamps were made for the NZ 350 by Hasag, but I did not find the brand or the photo of it anywhere. I have the remains of one original from the excavations, I will try to restore it, for pre-installation, ...

Re: Fuel Tank Chroming
Hi, Simon!
There is one essential remark in this subject which can be important.
According to data in some sources, in production DKW NZ350, the strips on the gasoline tank weren't chromeplated, them made, bringing the melted aluminum which was polished after that.
Best regards, Vadim.

Re: front brake cable
The story is ended... I have ordered all the set of ropes for DKV NZ-350 in Russia with the fabric braid and the brass tips, among them, the brake rope with an adjusting bolt.
On the photo it is well visible:

Re: front brake cable
Dear Masters!
Is it possible to see characteristics of the adjusting bolt on any scheme or write them, please. I want to make it. The material, the sizes, thread type, case form (there is there a sectional view or not) is it possible to put the photo of the adjusting bolt?
Thanks in advance.
Vadim.

Re: Help me to understand?
Terve, Frank, I have reconsidered many different documents and photos too and didn't see such design. It isn't looks like the self-made, all details are made by the machine tool, and the fixtures looks like the original... As you see, there is an additional resetting of the fixed contact on a corner...

One of them coincides with photos and drawings known to me, and the second one hasn't met anywhere. The question is: whether there were such system is o...
