Hello, Well I've been there and discovered just one NZ in the Bayeux museum (with tears in my eyes). Are pictures yet available? And here's another way to fix the gasmask to the motorbike.
As usual, the soldiers had their own way to solve this, as long as they had not to wear it around the neck all the time...

another unusual 'packtasche' ; this one was for sale on a Military Fair a year ago. (The black part is a rubber bumper for the lock.)

very nice bike in its original color.
Personally, i absolutly would keep it the way it is, almost all bikes are repaint, very rare to see an original one!
