Re: Carb Set Up
Once you get the throttle and clutch adjusted, you should take it out for a ride.

Re: Carb Set Up
Hi all Today my NZ 350 sparked into life for the first time since I got her to restore, and I am very pleased! I would like to ask a couple of questions: - Does anyone know the adjustments when setting up a carb (Bing 2/24) for the first time? (as in how many turns for the mixture/jet screw). - Wha...

Re: Pegusa seat 52 51 9 034 015
Since there are no reproduction seat covers available, I had to use the seat cover from one of these postwar seats for the rear seat on my NZ 350-1. If Leszek at OldTimerGarage ever makes a repro seat cover, I'm buying the very first one!

Re: Saddle/Driver seat
http://dkw-nz.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=648[/quote] The mount may be original, but the seat cover looks like a reproduction made by Leszek at Old Timer Garage. My NZ 350-1 has one of Leszek's repro eat covers on it, which replaced the Russian IZH seat cover found on my motorrad when it was purch...

Re: Good battery reproduction NZ 350
I would also recommend you to buy a modern gel cell battery. I bought the same battery shown in your link some years ago and I had to charge it nearly all two weeks. It`s capacity and usability is more than bad and you will have to clean the battery contacts of copper acetate all the time. Since I ...

Re: Gearbox Oil
Hello Simon, makes sure that you use one without the wear-oil additives. Otherwise the clutch slips. Using normal hardware store oil in this respect is not good enough. Use Miller Oil M30. SAE80 my opinion, is too thick. In colder temperatures, it should cause problems when switching. Another tip: ...

I have not started on the wing nut. I just moved, and the shop (barn) does not even have a bench or electric power yet. I've been healing up from surgery and working on fixing the house. I need to make one for myself, and I know you guys would like one too. I make things with hand tools, so even mak...
