Re: Lichtmaschine, Generator Complete
Hi Freddie, to be honest, I can say anymore. I overhauled a 350-1 engine 5-6 years ago, facing the same question. What I do remember is that the rotor of the dynamo, the part that rotates with the crankshaft, is very similiar to the post war rotors. The main differnce is the diameter of the cranksha...

Re: Lichtmaschine, Generator Complete
check German e-bay for the dynamo of a MZ ES250 or RT 125. If I recall correctly thats a straight replacement. Or check Ernst Weisswange he sells parts for the RT125 which shares the dynamo with the 350-1. Download the catalogue at: http://www.weisswange-motorradteile.de/Modelle%20DKW.htm Sorry in G...

Re: Fuel Tank Chroming
Hi Wilhelm, sorry but I disagree with your opinion. If you look at other German bikes from the same area as the NZ, you will see that on many of them much more chrome -or lets say reflecting surfaces- than on the NZ can be found. Check pictures of the NSU 601 OSL or Zündapp K500 for an example. When...

Re: Interesting SHELL NZ 350 at Bremen Motorshow
Well everybody to his own taste... But what would you do if you would find this bike in a barn in this colour? Restore it ane change it to non-original "Wehrmacht" colours?? I think this bike is a nice example of advertising history and should be preserved in the original livery.

Interesting SHELL NZ 350 at Bremen Motorshow
Hi friends,
some time ago I visited the Bremen Motorshow and saw (again) this NZ350 in funny colours. The bike was delivered in the yellow / red to Shell and was used for advertising purposes.

NZ Besitzer in Süddeutschland gesucht!
Re: Gas Tank
Zack,
you solder a washer to the dent and then attach a slidehammer to the washer. This way the professionals used to pull out dents like this. After the dent is pulled out, you take a angle grinder and cut of the washer.

Thomas

Take a medium gloss black, temperature resistant, paint. Sometimes you can find this stuff in hardware stores to paint oven/heater tubing

Re: Identifizierung NZ 500
Hallo,
Gruss
