How about "KAMAX" screws? I know that they were used on BMW´s Kettenkrad and Kübelwagen! By the way, does anyone know where to get parkarized (black to grey) screws. I know that Oldtimergarge sells Ribe screws, but 4 Euros for each is in my opinion a bit expensiv. I dont want to use modern screws a...

No idea on that speedo, quite interesting. I don´t have seen a comparable bike fitted with those speedos, and when a kind of that speedo is offered at Ebay, it goes always up to 140 km/h. May be a front fitted part, purchased directly by the Wehrmacht at P&S as substitute for a broken one. Nice bik...

This bike was found accidentally by farmer 40 km east (not 10km) from Warsaw.Luckly his friend bought it and he told the story about the bike and the driver buried together.T...

Incredible DKW NZ350 found
I have seen alot of DKW's and German bikes but this is something everyone must see and maybe we can learn from it? Look at the speedo with the trip meter in it. This was found a couple of months ago ca 10km east of Warsaw together with the body of a Wehrmacht officer. The officer has since been buri...

Re: Problem with batteries on a NZ 350-1
Ok guys, my NZ 350-1 has been running strong, been to many reenactment/car shows, but I do have this one issue...it keeps eating batteries. I know its not the magneto because the ignition light turns off after the bike starts up, but it appears to be something else. Any advice? -Thanks Tim in Virgi...

Correct speedo?
For those of you still searching for the correct speedo, here is a Isgus for sale and I am convinced this OR the PS that Thomas showed in the begining of this thread is correct.

Re: Increasing price of the -1 ?
Beside the gastank which is sold for 490,- Euro there was a restored 1944 - 1 advertised at german ebay ... described as "carefully build up from only original parts", with original tin boxes and some piecec still in original paint it really looked good for me ... and it was now sold (if all went r...

You need to aim for about 3mm of free play at the handlebar. If the adjusting cap is screwed all the way in either the rods too short or the steel ball that sits inside the adjusting cap is missing. You should feel the cap getting tight, then back it off half a turn so its not binding. Jeff, This i...
