DKW NZ 250 engineblock from 1942
I found a gear-cover(not sure if original on 250) and a cylinder for NZ 250(may be a fake made from nz 350 cylinder...), both stamped 42(in the ring)-3... is it possible? Were 250s manufactured in 42?
How mch nz 250 were made really?Top speed etc?
The other parts of the block are from 38...

dual row primary drive set for NZ 250
Hi! Can a dual row primary drive set fit my bike (there were different type of them in izh bikes...), a dkw nz 250??? Or is it too wide to fit into the housing of the motorblock? I do not care about the inner parts in my engine.. they shall be working properly being original is not the main point of...

Hi! No, the IZH type crankshafts are not correct for civil DKWs, only -1 DKWs are compatile with them... The crankrod iis different for nz 250, and other sizes are different too... Even if you are thinking about buying a brand new crankshaft it is better to buy a bad one and buy a renewing kit... I ...

Hi! The crankrod is specially blacksmithed... nice part, the two halves will remain with their two axis (on whom the dynamo and the smaller primary sprocket fit), anything else will be renewed. I will use my bike with IZH style piston (specially made smaller than 72 mm diameter-which is the base dia...

dkw nz motorblockholders
Hi! Can somebody send me a drawing about the dkw nz 250 motorblock holders (the front ones are the most interesting, because they differ from any other dkw nz), becauuse in hungary i haven't found another nz 250, and i do not know what to reproduce with lasercutting. Pleas scan the part or draw it w...

nz crankshaft
Hi! I never dealt with crankshafts before, so here are some questions of mine: Are the two halves of the DKW NZ crankshafts originally selected/set together? So can i replace only one half or only a broken shaft (on which the primary small chaingear is located)? Or is it better and cheaper to let th...
