Good battery reproduction NZ 350
Hi friends!
What do you mean, is this a good reproduction and will it fit to the standard battery holder? And does anyone of you experiences with 12AH battery on NZ 350? Works good?

Thanks!

Hi Martin,
thats the correct battery to fit the NZ. But I would advise you to get a contemporary outer case with modern lead-Acid-gel batteries inside.

I would also recommend you to buy a modern gel cell battery. I bought the same battery shown in your link some years ago and I had to charge it nearly all two weeks. It`s capacity and usability is more than bad and you will have to clean the battery contacts of copper acetate all the time. Since I own a modern gel cell battery in an old housing, I never had to charge it, even not after wintertime.

Ok, thank you chaps!
So the question is, as I have zero experiences with such a cases - where to get the most suitable/good looking battery case?
Which looks better the one from classicdepartment (BLITZ) or the one from ebay?

I have the same type in the above link [battery case] not the blitz type. My gel battery holds a charge all summer. no problem.it's the way to go now.no more acid leaks destroying your paint, and less wieght.

Re: Good battery reproduction NZ 350
I hollowed out the lead acid battery casing when the battery died and put tow gel cell batterias inside, wired in parallel for my NZ 350-1. It LOOKS like an original acid battery, but isn't. It holds a charge much better!Wilhelm_Heidkamp wrote:I would also recommend you to buy a modern gel cell battery.
