I just prepared my NZ 350-1 for winter here in Minnesota, USA. Snow has already fallen once and melted. I removed the battery and brought it indoors so it will not freeze. The gas was drained from the gas tank and put into my snow blower so it can be used this winter before it goes bad. The motorrad is stored in the barn.

I am not afraid of rust in the gas tank anymore because I coated it with a gas tank coating product from KBS. The tank was acid cleaned, phosphate coated, then epoxy coated so that the fuel never even touches the steel anymore, and this moisture will not either. The product costed around $45.00 US and you can order it online. I think it's a great way to preserve the tank from corrosion and extend its life indefinitely, and I recommend it.
