Does anyone have more information regarding the numbers on the license plates? I know the first couple of numbers meant something such as the region that the bike came from in Germany. Thanks

There is quite much info on the web about the numbers of the german licence plates during the war.
Do a google search with "German licence plate WW2" and you will find quite much interesting info on different forums.
