Here is a small mystery (at least for me):
On a 1940 NZ 350 wreck i have, the typenschild (original factory mounted) is without any info about the manufacturing year, there is nothing stamped in the "box".
Was the info about manufacturing year stamped at the factory, or at the importers/dealers?
According to the frame number this is an early 1940 bike.
