My front brake cable appears to be to long. Do you have to cut these to make them fit? I got mine from Oldtimers. Here is a picture of my issue.

You dont have any adjuster on your bike: gallery/image_page.php?image_id=93
Re: front brake cable
Where do you get the adjuster from? Does Oldtimers sell them?
Re: front brake cable
I think I have one of these in the original version, however a wee bit shorter since the tip has broken off. Otherwise there are standard newer ones that will fit. I probabely have some of these too.
Best regards

Re: front brake cable
These original adjusters are hard to get. Originally they are cast in aluminium...means they bent/corrode/distord easily. I don't know of anybody who sells them..

Dear Masters!
Is it possible to see characteristics of the adjusting bolt on any scheme or write them, please. I want to make it. The material, the sizes, thread type, case form (there is there a sectional view or not) is it possible to put the photo of the adjusting bolt?
Thanks in advance.
Vadim.

Re: front brake cable
The story is ended... I have ordered all the set of ropes for DKV NZ-350 in Russia with the fabric braid and the brass tips, among them, the brake rope with an adjusting bolt.
On the photo it is well visible:
