NEW NZ 250

Post by NIKIPET » Fri Sep 21, 2012 11:29 pm

Dear all,

It is the first time I am writing at this forum.

I already have restored a 1942 DKW NZ 350 and now is under restoration a 1939 DKW NZ 250. His color is desert yellow.

I will send you photos asap.

Can someone inform me or send photos about tire pressure and fuel tank markings? Are they same with NZ 350?

Regards,

Nick.

Hi Martin,

Thank you for your reply!

Pls tell me, only one tankmarking in the center like early NZ350 has, or all three markings like late models?

Nick.

Hi Nick,

You're well informed, the early NZ had only one marking in the center.
I don't know exactly when it went to 3 markings.
But it is to you, You could chose for 3 markings to, because it could be done later during wartime. For exammple a 1943 NZ with only one marking is not possible.

The tirepressure is the same as NZ 350, I checked it in the manual;
'Bedienungsanleitung fuer NZ 250 -350
Front 1,2 Atü
Rear solo 1,4 Atü
Rear with solo or Beiwagen 1,9 Atü
Rear with solo or Beiwagen 2,6 Atü

The markings are for sale by Moto-aura in Poland;
motoaura@wp.pl his name is Tom.
He has also al Division and tactical markings
when he has not what you want, he make it for You.
He has also the front and rear numberplates.
