Gas Tank

Post by ztitus713 » Sun Dec 02, 2012 12:39 am

My gas tank has a nice size dent on top. I would like to "pop" the dent out so you cannot see it anymore. I have tried some methods but have been unsuccessful. Does anyone have any ideas or methods that they have used? Here are some pictures so you can see the tank and the dent. Thank you for your help.

Zack,

you solder a washer to the dent and then attach a slidehammer to the washer. This way the professionals used to pull out dents like this. After the dent is pulled out, you take a angle grinder and cut of the washer.
