Where is catlog nummer on fork dkw nz 350 WH (1943-1944) or fork dkw nz 350-1.

Hi,
Never seen any part numbers on the fork itself.
I checked some forks I have, both pre-war, early-war, NZ350/1943 and 350-1 and the only difference i can see between them, is that the NZ350/1943 and 350-1 fork has a welded sheet metal piece for holding the tacho cable inside the left fork leg.
Also the weldings for the cups holding the bump stop rubbers are more crude on late war forks.

Hi,
Here is a picture of the sheet metal holder on a 350-1 fork (the bike is 6/44) its black now but under the black paint its yellow.
NZ350/1943 has also a identical holder.
