A Question of Colour...

Post by Arloff_NZ » Mon Feb 25, 2008 5:23 pm

After having sandblasted the first parts of my NZ another question occurred... While most components of the bike are painted "Dunkelgelb" the engines housing ist painted black... but how the gearshifting lever and the kickstarter were painted ?? Black as the engine or dunkelgelb as anything else ? The few original pictures of the -1 give no final clue as the parts are not visible or the whole bike is covered with dirt...

Any opinions ??

Regards,

Jens

Hello Arloff

I have a NOS Kickstarter from NZ 350-1
The Original Colour was Wehrmachts grey, the ground Colour was red !
I think Kickstarter colour = colour of Frame !

best Regards

Jürgen

Hello Jürgen !

Wellcome to the NZ Forum and many thanks for the quick reply !

NOS Parts are one of the few chance to get reliable information about our NZ - especially for the 350-1!

Best regards,

Jens
