Hello! My 1939 NZ250 came with this speedo-

Image

Just had it to the repair shop, and they did not want to take the job to repair it. He said it was a low quality production

So if anyone know of a good repair shop, please let me know - and until I get it repaired, I will setle for a repro speedo to get a licence plate on my bike- any hints of a good source for one?

Hi Sven !

For speedo repairs here in germany the company "Horex - Forster" (google will find their page) is a hot adress. Although he is dealer specialized on HOREX Bikes he also has a repair shop for speedos of any soure. He rebuild several speedos for me to my full satisfaction!

The P&S speedo on the picture is correct, but it also gives a second original speedo from Isgus.
At the Isgus Speedo the Numbers are printed on the glas !
Only a little part of the NZ Production have the Isgus .
P&S speedos are also used at DKW-SB.
In the Ersatzteilliste D605/12 vrom 22.9.1941 both speedos are shown.
I dont know in which jear the isgus was used ?
All NZ Speedos are hard to get and very expensiv.

Best regards

Hi Folks,

a lot what was discussed in this topic is covered by an article that you can find under this link http://www.dkw-nz.net/cms/front_content.php?idart=126.

The question that troubles me (I am member of the editors team): Is this article too difficult to find? You have to go to the NZ350 section and look under "More Info".

Please let me know if we should reorganise the homepage for a clearer and easyer access?

Best regards

Thomas, for a start, there should be a button on the forum page, with a direct link to the website, I miss this very much!! now I use a post that you wrote to get to the website!

Hi Thomas..

How about putting all parts for all bikes under the parts section? And when opening it, a list with links to the different parts, not needing to scroll thorugh all the parts/pictures looking for the correct one.

just an idea..
