Hello,
a question to our friends from Norway and Sweden.
As the original german handbook says, a NZ 350 should use "Normalbenzin" which is fuel with 91 octane (ROZ). In Germany there is no problem to get this, but it is planned to stop the production as anybody can clearly see when fueling, "Superbenzin" with 95 octane (ROZ) is available for the same price. A manual from the german two-stroke-engine manufacturer Sachs from the 60´s now tells never never to use "Superbenzin" because it will heat the motor up and the engine can be destroyed.
But there´s a fact concerning that: In the 60´s "Superbenzin" were sold with 98 octane (ROZ), which is now called "Super plus" in Germany and is still available. The "Superbenzin" with 95 octane (ROZ) was offered first in the mid-80`s for the first catalysator-cars.
As I know, fuel-companies in scandinavian countrys except for Danmark are only offering 95 octane (ROZ) and 98 octane (ROZ) fuel.
So which fuel do you use, do you have any information for what fuel is said to be OK for two-stroke-engines or did you make any mistakes with fuel in the past?
