Carburator cap RARE ( retro )

Post by martdapp » Tue Feb 12, 2019 11:05 am

Hello,
Offered here is a rare - there almost always missing part of a repro in two versions.
The protective rubber cap is simply placed over the mixing chamber of the carburetor and protects against water, snow, and desert dust.
The Bowden cable attached and seals are tapered and will be reduced depending on the diameter of the trains.
I offer two types of cap.

They are available with or without an attached Bowden seal.
Here, as required one or two holes are attached.

According Description D 605/11, NZ 350 comes from the factory with such a cover (spare part number 19264 optional).
350-1 at the parting of the ways. In my opinion, received the Army version fortiori such protection. But it is also possible that under severe conditions of production and on the basis of the rubber material and the absence of the last few years of the war motorcycles were not supplied with it. Unfortunately, there are to have any original photos or literature.
Who cleans his machine after a mud ride with the water hose, should already use something.
