cylinder marks

Post by p.salva » Sun Apr 21, 2019 7:58 pm

hello everybody,
my 1939 nz 350 has on the side of the cylinder , instead the audi four circles or the izh saturn, one K.
What does it mean?
The cylinder does not have removable port inspection covers - Überströmdeckel and show the serial nr.1220631.
Is it original dkw or Izh?

Thanx

Hi,

The K is probably a foundry stamp and is quite often seen on NZ cylinders. A K marked cylinder without the covers is for a NZ350-1.
