Primary Chain

Post by thunderbolt » Tue Feb 02, 2021 7:27 pm

Hi all,
I must report my success story! Thanks to Frank Nylund 's advice (again!) I purchased a new chain from FPH Moto-Rad in Krakow. The chain is Czech manufacture and is very good quality. I fitted the chain today, and my engine is now very quiet - I thought the metallic rattling was the small end of the conrod wearing out - but it must have been the old primary chain! It had about 40mm of slack, so must have been rattling around in the clutch casing for a long time. I am very happy! :D
Including transport the chain cost me about GBP £20.00 - a worthwhile investment, and a simple job to do.
Contact Jacek Lochmanczyk, email biuro@motorad.pl

The chain is 66 links, part number Lan.062C 66og. (3/8 x 3/8) CZ zakuty

cheers,
Chris in a wet Covid England - I want to ride my bike somewhere! :?

Hi Raimond,

Just glad if I can help someone to find good parts to a good price. There are so many "business-men" selling pure crap parts to those bikes

Best Greetings!
