saddle info wanted for Rt125-1/NZ350-1

Post by welbike » Wed Apr 14, 2010 8:20 pm

Hi all,

Got this saddle from a friend in France, has original paint on it, so assume it's from an NZ, and believe the Rt125-1 had the same saddle.

What I need to know is what part is missing to attach it to the brackets that bolt to the frame?? are they simple clips? I plan to use the metal for this seat, with the new rubber from Poland on my RT125-1, but there's something missing, if anyone has a picture and or drawing please?

Hi Alex,
The normal saddle is double!
To my opinion the under-site from Your saddle is cut of?!
I put in some pics from a NZ-saddle.
By the way the total saddle is for sale (same Pagusa logo/script and relief).

Ok Martin, then the Rt125-1 saddle is different underneath, was hoping it was the same.

Have the rubber covers from poland, and the metal parts, so only need the clips on the front, on the rear the springs are attached.

Bedankt/thanks,

Lex

Hi Alex,
this is a saddle frame of RT 125-1, the "Sattelbock" is of IFA RT 125.
The saddle rubber was the same like NZ. But the Pagusa inscription was blank!

Thanks Wolfgang! the upper bracket info is what I needed, asume the IFA is the same as on the DKW? have the other metal parts inside the saddle, also with the welded tab and thread on, so no problem there.

I can always remove the script "pagusa" with sandpaper, then it will look OK.

Regards,

Alex

Hi Alex,
the Großer Sattelbock is by IFA one part, by DKW 2 parts, see the picture.
