Condensator / Kondensator

Post by Gotrick » Sun Aug 08, 2010 7:42 pm

The condensator i got looks a bit bad, i might have to buy a new one.
Can anyone tell me what kind i should look for? and how can i test if mine still works?

The "Unterbrecher" (interrupter in English?) also looks bad, what do you guys think?

I don´t know anything (yet) about this electric stuff so any help is welcome.
Here are some pictures:

Take both new, you should not try to save money on the electric system, it will always bother you after the restoration. http://www.dkw-geyer.de and http://www.powerdynamo.biz/deu/sitemap.htm offer them.

..additionally the lubrication felt for the points has corroded off. The whole setup has to be completely overhauled. You can check also at Stemler for the parts, including the felt.
