If it helps, Ive just rebuild two NZ350 engines and from my experience it doesn't matter what the length of each rod is, provided the total length is okay. They are in two lengths so that you can pull it out easier from one side of the other. The dia is 5.82mm so I just turn down some 300mm M6 rod and cut it wherever. I have three engines and the total length is roughly the same depending on how warn the clutch is and the type of rod end. On one the clutch rod end has a ball bearing and on another it has more like a flat disk welded on the end. Clutches work fine on all three engines.
