Slingshot bracket for NZ350/1943 headlamp
Hi,
My NZ 350/43 is missing the slingshot bracket for the Hasag headlamp (the one shown in the parts section), can someone measure the diameter of the tube and the height from the top to the bottom of the "U", then I can make a new one myself.
of course, if someone has a original one for sale, please send a mail.
Regards; Frank

The bracket for the NZ43 is bended slightly forwarts, to give place for mounting the long torpedo Hasag MT130 RT-lamp.
The NZ-1 Hasag 130 lamp is smaller and has a vertical straight bracket.
Oldtimer-garage sells them, but I'm not sure if they have the correct mountingdiameter because the Russian IZH 350 had simular brackets for bigger lamps.

Hi Martin,
Yes you are right about the bracket, OG sells something that they claim will fit NZ350-1, but they have nothing for the NZ350/1943.
Much of the stuff that OG sells are pure scrap, not worth anything!,Mostly a worn original part is better to restore(Its amazing if you start to check the German quality on a old DKW part, the materials used, the workmanship compared to some other machine of the same time era, its super!!) instead of buying a new one cheap russian/Chinese repro part.
