DKW NZ 350

Following are some pictures of the NZ350-1 which is presented at the AUDI factory museum in Ingolstadt. Please judge yourself (!)

O.K. ...not really bad, but a bit far from really good. If you see what a hell lot of work and money they invest into some racing cars etc you would have expected somthing more... . Especially interesting - beside the missing tool box - is the speedo. Would be nice to know why they choose this type - maybe they got the information we miss...
But teh biggest mistake is not on the bike itself - its on the plate before which calls the 1944 bike in its "dunkelgelb" colour a "Sahara Ausführung" -a company museum of this size should know that the african campain was long lost when this type of bike entered production...

Quite nice, but as Arloff_NZ says, speedo is totally mistake.
Also horn, deko and clutch lever. Painting too.
Deko and clutch lever and also speedo are from SB 200 '36.
I think passenger footstreps are from earlier NZ.
But NZ350-1 without toolbox is correct. Check manual for 350-1: there is no toolbox!!!!

You must see that many german factories are not really interested in presenting items from their role in WW2. So you can´t expect too much, or it is more or less rare that a factory shows items like that, reminding of the corporation`s war history.
