My first ride

I've just spent 3 years restoring this bike from a complete wreck that I got in Normandy, south of Carentan near St Sebastian de Raids. There was lots of action around this place in 1944 and the bike has a few bullet holes. Due to the unavailiability of parts in the U.K its got some IZH bits on it and a few repro parts but the bike was defintely a 1943 type- engine is dated october '42.

I havent got the hand change rigged up yet and am having a few problems selecting 2nd gear.
