my NZ350 1942
1-DKW NZ350
2-1942
3-598319
4-bad readable....(cast iron,not original)
*-history?? Just purchased from a man who owned it for 7 years, and bought it with some other bikes.
*Lots of non original or missing parts...hope to begin to work on the bike soon!
*And I have a lot of questions! (for you guys at this great website!)

That's right Wilhelm ,
allready found an original front fender!
The front lamp is also wrong, looking for a right one,
and some things are totally missing: upper and lower chain guard etc..
I started to take the bike apart today and will make a list of what I need.
Maybe someone can help,
thanks.

The lamp is NZ! Don´t throw it away! It´s for the late model 44-45! Someone will pay high prices for it! You need the HASAG M165, have a look in the parts section.
You also need a new rear brake cover plate, it is fixed with the brake lever down, the lever should be upside, seems that the holder is broken. And tail-light and horn are even not NZ.

Tim,
Your a little too late...
Allready exchanged it with Jürgen from the forum here for an early light.
It's currently on it's way to Austria.

Today finally had some time to upload some pictures of the resto of my bike.
All is going well and the bike is slowly coming to life!
Still missing some parts e.g. horn, taillight, set screw frontbrake, fuel tap, gear selecter on tank.....
Maybe someone can help?
More pictures on my site in the picture album!

Hi!
In my opinion the fuel tap is a part which musn't be original. Maybe repro parts are available but originals are on high prices (i suppose), you can find ones which can be bought on this forum... Or you can use Jikov fuel tap from JAWA bikes , it is correct, but not so beautiful and the bigger problem is that it's not original . You rear lamp is maybe from IZH Planeta, but it is just a tip (has it stoplight???
The IZH49/350-47 hand gear selector fits the DKW NZ, but it is not original (and the NEUTRAL is marked with a "0", instead of "L" at the IZH bikes, and there arent any four rings..)
