Hi all,
I need new brushes and springs for my 1939 350NZ. I think the German name is Kohlebürste and the part numbers are:
012115-0 Minus kohle
012894-0 plus kohle
Recommendations where to buy please,
thanks,
Chris

Re: Dynamo brushes
Hi Chris,
You will find them on German ebay. I have buyed them from this guy:
http://www.ebay.de/itm/Kohlen-brushes-D ... EYxOxKJGYg
Otherwise they are ok, but the wire to the - brush is too long, so you have to cut it and fit a new ring clamp to it.

Re: Dynamo brushes
Thanks again Frank!
I've had the armature cleaned and tested but still no charge, so I will now fit new brushes.
all best,
Chris

Hi Chris,
Check also you have all the insulation washers and bushings in place under the two screws holding the brass + brush holder to the stator.
There shall be no contact between the + brush holder and ground.
