Hello everyone!
I need new piston rings for my DKW NZ 350-1. Does anyone know where I can buy some? The size of the rings is 72.5mm. The old piston rings are 0.95mm thick.
Lezsek at OldTimer garage has Russian made piston and rings for sale. Will those rings work?
The piston I have fits very well, but the ring gap is 0.070" (1.778mm), which is too large. The piston and cylinder are in good shape and round. The piston has no markings, and I suspect it is a replacement that was installed by Investment Bikes in Holland. Do the original pistons have markings?
Thank you!
Kurt

Re: Wanted: New Piston Rings
Far as I remember My Piston has at least stamped a building-year on top.
But I will see if there is more. But momently I can only see on top of it.
I'm not gonna demontage the cylinder and Piston at this time.
The Russian IZH- Pistons are fitting well.
However you have to chose the right size for Your Cylinder.
"Innesberg" from Ebay sells complete different sizes Pistons,
also the oversized! You can contact him under this link;
