No picture indeed. I was just remembering some pictures of WH NZ 500's I saw about a mont ago somewhere over the internet :-D So I remembered the light protections was there present. I'll try to google them again.

Hi Guys,

This Forum " NZ Talk ~ NZ 350 images from the Internet" the red NZ 500 on page 1, it has the same type of protection used on Finnish army NZ 500s during the war.

Yes Frank that's it. Thank you.
But this protector is attached different way - straight to the front fork holders.
On my front fork are the holes separate.
It was maybe some similar "field" construction.. who knows. There are many options.

Thank you Frank,

interesting link.
Especially the skull on the front light (upper left picture).

And here is the one I found and saved from Ebay:

Some off topic: The skull and bones were the older insignia used by the Finnish tank brigade during the war (until 1943?) then they changed to an insignia with 3 arrows, the skull and bones can also be seen on the tank on the same picture.

By the way, quite interesting with the front light guard, I have seen them on severe pictures with NZ 500, but never on a NZ 350.

Regarding the two holes on the front fork, my NZ 350 also have two holes on each side about three inches above the link arm. I have no idea what may have been attached here.

No. Mine are on a line parallel to the link arm some 60 mm apart about the same level as your lower hole
