NZ 350 parts on NZ 250?

Good evening all NZ lovers.

I have the possibility to obtain a NZ 250 for free. The downside is that it has been destroyed in a fire. No frame parts seem to have been bent by the heat from the fire so my hope is that the temperature was not too high and that the steel structure has not changed.

My question is, how much can be used from a 350 on a 250? I am going to start with the fork, is this the same on the two? I can only find a spring for the 350-modell, is this the same as for the 250? Anyone who knows exactly what parts that i need to replace on a fire-damaged fork?

At the moment I live in Berlin and I see on Ebay that quite a few parts can be bought in Germany.

A more straight-forward question: Are the frames and forks of the NZ 250, 350 and 500 the same?

Eine geradlinige Frage: Sind die Rahmen und Gabeln der NZ 250, 350 und 500 die gleiche?

Hello,
You should get DKW spare part list 58. It is about both, NZ250 and 350, so you can compair. The spring has a different part number, but I think it is only the rate because of the higher weight? The other part numbers are the same, exept the lower levers of the fork, but I think only on early bikes. I think it is no problem to get nearly everything for this bike.
Frames and Forks of NZ250 and 350 are mostly the same, NZ 500 is completely different.
Regards, Matthias

My quest continues... Have managed to get most parts for the front fork.

Another question, what size are the threads for the fuel cock?

Welche Gewinde hat der Benzinzahn?
