That is why it will never fit,
mine is 80mm only at the top (+/-15mm) rest is much smaller.
Maybe there are two sort of repro's????
Maybe Jakub can clarify, and ask the producer of the tachos.

Hello,
I think that the seller has to solve the problem,
he sold 2 persons a Tacho as good and fitting on the NZ.
I must say that a friend of mine has also a Tacho from him, it fits well, but is it the same........?
As enthousiast NZ-drivers we don't have to make discussions about that sort of matters.
Solving the problem is the best way to keep good friends !
Happy New Year,
Martin

Jakub,

When i got the DKW from you, the speedo came with the bike, seperatly and you mailed that too me in the mail, remember? It was not on the bike and now i know why, it didnt fit. Now i am stuck with this speedo and it doesnt fit? I tried to get a different housing from a member on here telling me it would work but guess what? I purchased the different outter shell on ebay and its too big as well, so i am stuck with this too.
Can i send you the speedo and you can replace it for me?

Jakub,

Than how can you be selling the speedos that you claim they work? I am confused?
Grame,

I purchased this item and it was a waste of money, it doesnt fit into the speedo housing, its about 84mm. SO now i have this item as well..:(

Hello Grame,
Why don't you send it back?
You can't use it and it would be not fair to sell it again.
