Hi, there.

Could anyone tell me originality of this one ?
Underneath of the three layers of coating there is a trace of basic black colour.

Hi Martins,

Seems to be a nice NZ fender. The bracket where the rear supports shall be mounted is missing and someone has drilled new holes on the side of the fender and mounted the the rear supports there.

I also have another older type of DKW front fender. There is some trace of black colour with golden stripe. It seems to be from the civil version Y- 38'/'39'
This other type of front fender is wider in bottom that this one.
This one is a bit strange. Were there more than one type of front fender for DKW till 1943 ?

I dont know if NZ 500 or some SB models have wider front fenders??? On the fender on the picture the reinforcement plate inside the fender is of same shape as on NZ fenders i have (1939-40).
KS 200 Luxus (export models) also have front fenders with identical measurements as NZ, but the reinforcement plate has an different shape on them because the fender is attached to the front fork in a different way on them.

Here is the other type of front fender ! It's not in the best shape - but fixable :)
