Much is depending on if the engine is made of cast-iron or alloy beneath the silver paint...

Yes, could also be a Russian IZH allu. motor.
Once I saw a IZH motorcycle for sale as NZ-1.
Someone changed the left Allu motor-cover for a Grauguss -1 cover
and painted the allu motor black !
