Again One NZ on Ebay

Post by Wilhelm_Heidkamp » Wed Jun 25, 2008 5:12 pm

Hello,

The NZ 350 from below is listed again at Ebay, you can find it under the auction number 220251943304

I´ve found two NZ on ebay for sale, one NZ 350 in Austria and a NZ 250 in Germany.

The NZ 350 has the Auction No. 220249442731, it is strange that it is said the bike were built in 1944 but except for the engine there are no parts of the 1944 version.. The start-price is ok I think, 2900 Euros to start in the auction but 4300 to buy it instantly, that´s a lot of money for a bike consisting of two... the horn is fixed in a very strange way even.

The second offer is better I think, a NZ 250 with Hirafe and in it´s original! civilian painting with just one pre-owner for just a little more than 2000 Euros you find under auction No. 110264956494

Hi,

the rear suspension on the NZ250 looks definetly not like DKW. I guess that this is an russian IZH tail.

Regards

A Mr. Endig was involved in the production of small series with special rear suspensions at Karl-Marx-Stadt (Chemnitz) after the war in the GDR.
Maybe it is a bike from his series.

There were lots of small DKW/IFA repair/racing-sheds in the early GDR.

It´s hard to say by that bad pictures if it is really complete and if all stuff is original. The type plate is missing I think, and the saddle is not original. I think you should achieve a maximum price of 2400 Euros when you offer it with english text in german ebay and if you offer shipping to germany.

Hi, thanks for your advice - why you are thinking that saddle is not original - it is framo sattel and I think it can be ( pagusa was on 350-1 or not) I see picture of dkw 1943 model with framo sattel mit leder it is original sattel in some original betriebanleitung dkw army bikes. Drivers seat was framo and passenger was pagusa,.

Normally it should be only Pagusa on later bikes, Framo is to be found only on pre-war bikes. Maybe old parts were wused as Framo was a part of the DKW brand.
