Interesting DKW photo

Post by Paul » Wed Mar 16, 2016 3:17 am

I recently saw this DKW photo on eBay. It looks like a NZ 350-1943, maybe a NZ-1? Interesting photo.

Hi Frank,
regarding the contact-switch on the leftt side on the tank it is sure that it's a NZ 350/43.
To my opinion a late version with already the short Hella/Bosch 130 headlight.

Hi Martin,

You are right about the front lamp, it does not look like the early 130 Hasag.

Hi Martin,

You have good eyes :)

When looking at the other bike, it has a cylinder without aluminium side covers and it also looks like there is a tank cap on the left side instead of the ignition switch, so its a 350-1

Same picture, but larger and restored. Details are easier to see now.
