Happy New Year to all!
Regret did very little to my DKW in 2017 as I was using my jeep! 2018 will be the year of the bike! Two items of interest: I have discovered after much research the sidecar on my 1939 350NZ is a 1938 Simard, manufactured in Lyon, France. I wonder how a German motorcycle got a French sidecar?
Also, I want to put some markings on my bike, any idea what the Luftwaffe would have used? My bike came from Laon in Picardy, and there was a big Luftwaffe bases at Laon-Athies, so I am thinking of using Luftwaffe marks. The last squadron at Laon-Athies in August 1944 was Nachtjagdgeschwader 5.
all best, Chris

Re: Motorcycle and sidecar markings
Hi,
Contact Tom in Poland, he can make any markings you want.
motoaura@wp.pl
He has complete sets for usual markings like tirepressure, tankmarkings a.s.o.
But he has (and can make) all div- / comp- / and tactical markings wich you desire.
Maybe he needs samples.
Regards,
Martin

Hi,
Just google Nachtjagdgeschwader 5, they had an interresting symbol on their planes and vehicles.
